2002 er en af de sidste årgange hvor Janisson-Baradon faderen Richard overså vinifikationen. Et vidunderligt eftermæle må man sige.

En vin af 100% Chardonnay fra husets bedste beliggende marker. Skøn intens smøragtig smag med klassisk sprød mineralskhed. Moden, aromatisk og lækkert afrundet. Smager rigtig lækkert nu, men har masser af potentiale til yderligere 5-10 års lagring.

Sea food, fiskeretter og skaldyr såsom hummer, østers, muslinger. Bløde oste og som apertitif.

Created by Georges Baradon (agitator) and son (Cooper) in 1922, the House-JANISSON Baradon, located on the heights of Epernay is now run by Richard, Maxence and Cyril JANISSON. Winemakers from five generations the family Janisson operates a vineyard of 9 hectares, located on the slopes identifying the capital of Champagne. In recent years, genuine love of the earth, they practice the culture of their land in "rational control". Each of their plot is grassed, to protect the biological functioning of the soil, thus favoring healthy ecological methods, respecting the environment.

Always to confirm the nature of their champagne and typicality of their land, the harvest JANISSON their harvest maturity. The wines are vinified press by press, each plot is separated then raised in vats and small oak barrels. The assembly of wines is a family history or a ritual, where everyone expresses itself in the delicacy and subtlety, to offer all the vintages, the JANISSON Baradon-style. The bottles are aging several years in the cellars, in total darkness, disgorging is done twice a month, for a market after a minimum rest six months.
