Il Palagio di Panzano - in the heart of Tuscany
The Il Palagio di Panzano winery has a privileged location, on the south and south-west side of the Conca d'Oro, a few steps from Panzano in Chianti, a charming village in the Chianti Classico.
The estate has a total of around 13 hectares of land, of which three and a half hectares are planted with olive trees and the rest with selected grape vines. In recent years the oldest vines have been replanted with an eye to always making the best possible wine in future.
Here, in a area famous throughout the world for its beautiful landscape, Franco and Monia carefully manage their vineyard.
Il Palagio di Panzano produces wines which are territorial and elegant and outstanding for their high mineral content and finest flavours. The fragrances of red fruits, as are typical of Sangiovese wines, are complemented perfectly by the hints of oak wood. A good structure, compact acidity and nice, smooth tannins define our wines. They show a bright, ruby red colour with nuances of garnet red.
The Chianti Classico, Riserva and Gran Selezione, all 100% Sangiovese, are produced entirely with the grapes of the estate Il Palagio di Panzano.
