Domaine Martin Schaetzel started as a small family business, with roots dating back to 1852. Today, the domaine has changed its name to Martin Schaetzel by Kirrenbourg, and s committed to improving the reputation of wines from Alsace.
Since 2016 much of the domaine is both biodynamic and organic, and many of their wines are vegan-friendly and sulfite-free. The domaine’s wines are made according to the philosophies of oenologist Jean Schaetzel — With respect to the extreme importance of the soil to the finished result of the wine.
Annual average production: 45,000 bottles with 50% of Riesling-based wines.
