Weinrieder - Reid Kugler Riesling 2020
Ripe, tender sweet, quite juicy fruit, fine acidity, herbs in the background as well as traces of nuts and tobacco, sustainable, light mineral, very good, juicy and spicy finish.
8 C° – ideal with good quality pates and Asian cuisine
The very high lime content in the Kugler vinyard has a very distinctive and lasting effect on the wines. The Rieslings with an exotic style and fine acidity. We at the WEINRIEDER winery always go to the limit, especially with the Riesling variety. We take a very high risk through the late harvest in order to wrest the best from nature. “Riesling on the limit”

loess / sand, south-facing slope
The very high lime content in the Kugler vinyard has a very distinctive and lasting effect on the wine.
Vinification:
rigorous handselection in the vinyard, Careful de- stemming; the grapes were pressed gently and then fermented in cooled stainless steel tanks to retain the clean fruit character. Longer yeast contact to give the wine more complexity & ageing potential
Tasting notes:
Ripe, tender sweet, quite juicy fruit, fine acidity, herbs in the background as well as traces of nuts and tobacco, sustainable, mineral, very juicy and long finish.
