Another beautiful wine is the roughly 600-case 2014 Two Blondes Vineyard. A blend of 56% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Malbec, it's a sweetly fruited, supple, downright sexy red that offers loads of cassis, graphite, licorice and hints of leafy herbs. Big, ripe and concentrated, with a great texture (it's more elegant and seamless than the Ciel du Cheval), it will drink beautifully for two decades.

This wine shows off the gorgeous fruit qualities (currant, red cherries) that pair up seamlessly with the notes of leafy herbs, cassis, graphite and floral tones. There is a plushness and concentration that exemplifies the great texture and endless finish of this always elegant wine.

Firman startade i mycket liten skala 1989 i en byggnad som knappt kan ses som ett vineri. Det var typ fyra väggar och tak.

1994 flyttade firman till mer ändamålsenliga lokaler i Vashon och åren efter byggde man till anläggningen ytterligare med lagerlokal och utökade även odlingarna en del.
Firman har fyra vingårdar, Ciel du Cheval, Champoux och May's Discovery och Two Blondes.
Sedan första årgången 1989 har firman förbättrat sina hantverkskunskapar år för år, men samtidigt behålla enkelheten i sin grundfilosofi.

Firman producerar totalt 4500 lådor vin om året. Förutom de blandningar dem gör från Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot och Cabernet Franc, gör dem också Sangiovese från frukt odlad på Ciel du Cheval gården.
