From another great vintage for Washington State, the Bordeaux look-alike 2016 Mystique is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc that’s all from the estate vineyard on the western edge of the Yakima Valley. Its deep ruby color is followed by a spicy, savory, herbal, yet textured and full-bodied red that has loads of red and black fruits, some spicy oak, and a clean, dry finish. It’s already impossible to resist yet should keep for 7-8 years.

Wow, hold on to your hats for these latest releases from Sheridan's Scott Greer! This is a killer vintage from this Yakima Valley based estate and he's made one of the Cabernet Sauvignons of the vintage, probably the best Cabernet Franc I've ever tasted from Washington, and an insanely good Syrah that reminds me of Guigal's famed Côte Rôties. Bravo!

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2016 Mystique is killer wine! Its deep ruby/purplish color is followed by notes of blackcurrants, white chocolate, wood smoke and tobacco. Deep, plush and opulent on the palate, with silky texture, drink this hedonistic, yet perfectly balanced beauty over the coming decade or so.
