Vitt vin från Bourgogne« Pierreclos har fått sitt namn från den steniga utlöpare som planterats med vinstockar sedan 600-talet, kallad "Petra Clausa" vilket innebar "omsluten av stenar" som ägs av Saint-Vincent of Mâcons och benediktinermunkarna i Cluny Abbey. Idag produceras vinerna från Château de Pierreclos från 11 hektar vinstockar, fördelade på åtta byar under nio appellationer. »

Chardonnay
Tasting note
This wine has notes of sweet fruit, candied lemon. The mouth is round with a saline finish. It is made from a blend of three complementary sites: "La Roche" - a pebble soil for the aromas - "Les Brésillons" - a high altitude soil for the freshness and "En Collonges" - a marl soil for the roundness.

Surface Area: 5 acres. Exposure south and east, at an altitude of 300 m, slope 30%.
Grape Varietal: 100% Chardonnay
The Vines: The plantation density is 7,500 vinestocks/ha. The average age of the vines is 17 years old.
The Soil: Clay-limestone; assembly of different climates (Champendi, les Brésillons, la Condemine) situated around the Chateau in the village of Pierreclos
Vinification: Quality-based pressing with a pneumatic press. Cold static clarification. Vinification in 100% metal tanks. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature.
Aging: Maturing on fine lees for 9 months. Light filtration before bottling.
Tasting Notes: An expressive wine, round and fruity. The perfect wine to enjoy with friends!
