Tasting note
This Shiraz-Cabernet blend is a perfect combination of two fantastic grape varieties.
The Shiraz grape gives the wine a deep, dark ruby-red color and an immediate, fruit-forward aroma with notes of ripe cherries, plums, and a hint of pepper. The Cabernet grape adds structure and dryness, with delightful notes of blackcurrant and chocolate. The finish offers a rich concentration of fruit, accompanied by spicy undertones and tannins that suggest excellent aging potential.
Cottage Garden 2023 Cabernet/Shiraz is the perfect companion for hearty meat stews featuring lamb, beef, or game. It also pairs wonderfully with pasta or risotto dishes served with meat and tomato-based sauces. So, whether you are planning an intimate dinner or a festive gathering, this wine is sure to impress your guests.
