Damilano - Barolo DOCG Brunate 2015
Rött vin från Piemonte« Damilano Azienda Agricola är en av de äldsta historiska vinproducenterna i Barolo-regionen i Piemonte, Italien. Den familjeägda egendomen grundades 1890 av Giuseppe Borgogno och har odlat och vinifierat druvor i fyra generationer. Vinodlingen är mycket känd för sina förstklassiga Barolo-uttryck, särskilt de som kommer från den prestigefyllda Cannubi-kullen. »

The original name for this vineyard is Brinate. In its early years, this Barolo presents aromas of violets, balsamic and small red fruits hints along with pleasant spice aromas such as clove, cinnamon and nutmeg.
As the wine matures, notes of tobacco, rose and licorice come through and, in great vintages, truffle as well.
Fineness and elegance result from the alkalinity and the presence of calcium in the soil.
