The opportunity to labour over exceptional blocks and unleash their potential? Yes! We seized it with both hands for the Haute Collection Chardonnay. In 2014, the spotting of this single vineyard of old vine Chardonnay planted in 1983 sowed the seed for our Haute Collection, and in 2017, the maiden vintage was released. Wine of Origin Franschhoek on a cool site with deep sandy loam soil, perfection in fruit intensity to ripening to bunch formation.
THE STORY
At Haute Cabrière, the von Arnim family specialises in wines created from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varietals. This wine pays tribute to the versatility of Chardonnay.

TASTING NOTES
Clay amphorae were used in addition to French Oak barrels for this single-block wine. Enjoy subtle oak characters with notes of citrus, followed by subtle notes of honey and butterscotch.
